Run a Full Scan or Quick Scan - McAfee Endpoint Security
I am also having problems with the latest McAfee Security updates. Before the last update a full scan would take about 6 hours but I could still use my computer and Site Advisor nolonger woks with FireFox.Now a full scan takes about 35 hours and comsumes 100 of my processor. I can not use my computer untill the scan is complete. I have been to 'About McAfee' and the information about versions is belwo: - Security Centre - 11.6 Run a full scan A full scan checks all drives and folders on your PC for threats including viruses, spyware, tracking cookies, rootkits, bots, Trojans, and worms. A full scan takes more time than a quick scan, because it is a comprehensive scan.
