The course is taught using Hyper-V on Windows 10, as this will teach you the core concepts of Hyper-V and is the most used version of Hyper-V in a corporate setting. All skills taught, are directly transferable to Hyper-V on Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 & 2016 and the few advanced differences there are, will be explained in the course. For those more familiar with the VMware, you can think about Hyper-V 2016 as the pseudo equivalent of the free version of the ESXi hypervisor.
