My laptop is randomly disconnecting from my new router. Sometimes it's every few minutes, sometimes it can be an hour or two in between disconnections. This only seems to effect wireless devices and I notice it most often on my laptop. The router is a Fritz!Box 7490 and is connected to 2degrees Internet. The message in the WLAN event log is :

Dec 11, 2018 · All the lights go off and anywhere from 3-5 minutes, and at least once a day sometimes 4 or 5 times a day. It then reconnects and things start working. Remove Desktop Connection constantly disconnects every 4 minutes We have recently switched from another ISP to Comcast on hopes of getting better performance. While the speed is sometimes faster, Remote Desktop Connection is certainly unstable. If I disable my ethernet adapter with Internet kill switch off it does try to auto reconnect. If I disable my ethernet adapter with Internet kill switch on it doesn’t try to reconnect.
