Restore factory firmware on ASUS RT-AC66U : DDWRT SOLVED!!!! I tried to follow this guide on the ASUS website, but it constnatly told me that the router wasn't in rescue mode.. A quick Google search offered me the advice of entering rescue mode and then going to the 192.168.1.1 web page. Went there, saw the rescue prompt, uploaded the downloaded .TRX from the ASUS website, and success!
